The Wines

This wine is a barrel selection of the most elegant and concentrated lots to create a powerful wine. The wine is made from the blend of 4 blocks harvested in separate passes: 49% North Face, 34% Finger, 11% Bay View and 6% Gatos.

Pawa is a Wappo Indian word that means One. One wine out of the blend of a few. It is a wine designed to be fresh, clean, and ultimately drinkable upon release. The fruit selection for this wine comes from the middle part of the harvest to produce a fruit forward wine.

“Witha,” is a  Wappo Indian word for West. Witha comes bounding out of the glass with exuberant notes of wild blueberries, black raspberries and crushed black currants plus suggestions of kirsch, chocolate box, herbal notes, and spice cake. The soft, plush, juicy-fruited palate offers tons of black fruit layers with a racy line and red berry lift at the finish. 

The DiMarco Cellars Story Chris and Amy (high school sweethearts) fell in love with wine in their early 30’s on their first trip to wine country and have not looked back since. Their love for boutique wines became a passion in hopes of having their own wine one day and DiMarco Cellars was developed. Thanks to Hesperian wines a boutique winery in Sonoma Valley that gave us that chance. I hope you all enjoy it as much as we do.
